Thanks for Supporting Goats of Anarchy by Shopping our Earth Day $1 Sale!
If you stopped by the Earth Day $1 Sale last Saturday, THANK YOU! Together, we raised $41,425 to support the Goats of Anarchy, an amazing vegan farm sanctuary. That’s a whole lot of $1 clothing kept in circulation and a big helping hoof for the 250+ farm animals in GOA’s care. About the Sale
On Saturday April 20th, customers across the country lined up at their local Buffalo Exchange with dollar bills in hand! From cute floral dresses to classic sneakers, the sale had something for everyone – and all for just $1 apiece. If you came out to shop, give yourself a huge pat on the back: not only did you help keep these clothing items in circulation and out of landfills, but you also raised money for an incredible cause!
Missed this year’s sale? Save the date for next year because it’s an annual tradition! Every year, since 1997, Buffalo has held a $1 Sale on the Saturday closest to Earth Day, with all of the proceeds going to an environmental cause or non-profit. Over the years, we’ve raised over $842,100 for a variety of animal and environmental causes. Last year’s sale, for example, benefited The Elephant Sanctuary, raising $43,483 to help provide elephants retired from zoos, circuses and other forms of captivity with home and herd. We look forward to continuing this amazing tradition for many years to come! Thank you all for your support – we couldn’t have done it with our loyal Buffalo shoppers.
More Ways to Give Back Just by Shopping
Want to give back just by shopping year around? Each Buffalo location supports three local nonprofits through our Tokens for Bags™ program. Instead of handing out single-use plastic bags, we offer customers a 5 cent charity token with each purchase. You can then choose to donate that token to one of three local nonprofits! Since starting this program in 1994, we’ve raised over $926,025 for thousands of deserving organizations and kept over 18.5 million plastic bags out of the environment.
