You helped us raise $40,000 in support of the American Wild Horse Conservation, an amazing org dedicated to protecting wild horses and burros across the nation. About the Sale
On Saturday April 19th, thousands of customers saddled up, grabbed some bucks and got in line at their favorite Buffalo Exchange locations across the country! The sale had bins overflowing with everything from jewelry and accessories to cozy sweaters and vintage denim—truly a mane event. To top it all off, every piece that y’all took home helped keep clothing out of landfills AND raised money for a great cause!
Every year since 1997, Buffalo has held a $1 Sale on the Saturday closest to Earth Day, with all of the proceeds going to an environmental cause or non-profit. Over the years, we’ve lassoed over $882,103 for a variety of animal and environmental causes. Last year’s sale, for example, benefited Goats of Anarchy, raising $41,425 to help rescue and rehabilitate farmed animals with disabilities. We look forward to continuing this amazing tradition for many years to come! Thank you all for your support – we couldn’t have done it with our loyal herd of sustainable baddies.
More Ways to Give Back Just by Shopping
Want to give back just by shopping year around? Each Buffalo location supports three rotating local nonprofits through our Tokens for Bags™ program. Instead of handing out single-use plastic bags, we offer customers a 5 cent charity token with each purchase. You can then choose to donate that token to one of three local nonprofits! Since starting this program in 1994, we’ve raised over $982,840 for thousands of deserving organizations and kept over 18.5 million plastic bags out of the environment.
