"FESTIVAL LOOKS FOR LESS" BY ATLANTA'S BARGAIN HUNTER

Atlanta Journal-Constitution's bargain hunter recommends Buffalo Exchange in “Music festival fashion for less” on April 25, 2014: “Music festival fashion has become an entire shopping category in recent years. … As festival season gets underway here in Atlanta with CounterPoint this weekend, here are a few ways to get stylish festival looks for less … Shop resale: Let's face it, festival fashion is stuck in the 1960s and 1970s, so what better way to emulate the styles than to shop the actual styles at vintage or resale shops? Buffalo Exchange … has lots of great options for festival gear and if you take in some old clothes to trade you can shop on credit and save even more money. …”

ATLANTA'S BARGAIN HUNTER "SELL IT, IF YOU CAN"

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution interviews Buffalo Exchange Founder Kerstin Block and recommends Buffalo Exchange in “Cash for clothes: selling vs. consignment” on February 25, 2014: “I checked in with two experts in the resale industry to compile a list of tips for anyone considering selling clothing as we approach spring. … Kerstin Block, president and co-founder of Buffalo Exchange, is celebrating 40 years in the resale business this year with a vintage Airstream pop-up shop touring the country. Buffalo Exchange opened its first Atlanta shop about a year ago. (The tour comes through town on March 31.) Things have changed in the world of resale, they both say. “We have gone from being a pariah, to being a huge fashion statement,” Block says. Here are some tips to help you determine if selling or consigning may work for you. … Designer bags are golden. Most resale stores can’t get enough of these. Buffalo Exchange may even make exceptions and take a high-end bag on consignment, Block says.”
